Summer 2015 at Leeds Festival...

I never understood how people manage to lose things when moving house, until recently where I found my camera in a box of things I had forgotten about when I moved. Goes to show how much I use my iPhone camera on a daily basis!

So expect some blog posts that look rather summery photos compared to the dreary rainy weather we have right now.

Last summer I got tickets to Leeds Festival, before this, the last time I went was in 2010, so I was kinda looking forward to it. The bands that made me want to go was The Maccabees, The Cribs and Panic at the Disco. Three of my favourite bands and they did not disappoint. I'd say the highlight of the weekend was definitely Panic at the disco. They are my guilty pleasure. They were one of my favourite bands back when they first formed and A Fever You Can't Sweat Out is up there with one of best albums. IMO. I must admit over the years I did stop listening to them but after seeing them that weekend, it bought back so many memories. I had seen them once before and I didn't really rate them which was  disappointing, but after their set at Leeds, it was incredible and goes to show how far they have come and that I had missed so much. I even created a 'Panic Leeds' playlist on my Spotify account which I listened non stop for ages after.

It was such a lovely weekend, it was so nice to chill by the main stage listening to live music, in the sun, eating food bought from a van and discovering new bands along the way. Writing this post has made me extremely exited for Summer and its longer and brighter days.

What is your favourite festival?

  1. This looks so fun! I've heard a lot about this festival! I may go someday. I'm not normally the festival type but I think I definitely should go to a proper one instead of just day festivals.

  2. I have only just got into going to festivals, I went to 2 last year. The kids also came along to Camp Bestival as it is a family one and we had the best day! Full on fun and so much enjoyment!

  4. This looks great! I went to Green Man festival last year and had an amazing time, but I think my favourite festival is Latitude - just so much to do, and a brilliant chilled out atmosphere (probably helps my memories that the weather was glorious the one time I've been too!)
