Tintagel, Cornwall.

Cornwall is quite possibly one of my favourite places I have ever visited. I find it so peaceful, and tranquil, everyone is so friendly and there is always a dog everywhere I turn.

Having visited many places in Cornwall over the past years such as; Newquay, St Austell, Wadebridge and Padstow, Tintagel is definitely my favourite. I may sound old but I absolutely adore Tintagel and staying in a static caravan, coming form a large(ish) city, it is so nice to get away, and I  love that I have no signal on my phone and a week of no internet. I first came to Tintagel a year ago, and I am so happy to say that I am going back at the end of next month. It will probably be extremely cold and windy (again) but that's kinda why I love staying in a caravan. I like to hear the wind howling and putting the gas fire on. It's just so cosy. As long as I have my dvds and a fridge fully stocked, I'm happy.

Of course that is not all that we will be doing, having a car is great and we'll most likely drive to other towns near by as well as taking a hike up to see King Arthur's Castle and sit in the local pubs and tea rooms.

Have you ever been to Cornwall? Where is your favourite place to visit?

  3. I'm with you on that. Cornwall is one of my favourite places in the whole world. THere's something about that briney air and fresh fish that makes you feel as though you're VERY far away from the rest of the UK. Not to mention the odd cornish pasty lol I love Fowey! It's quaint and always a good time to be had!
