Everyone and anyone has the Naked palettes and I went through a phase of just wanting to own them for the sake of it but that would have been just silly! If I had to choose any though, I would have chosen Naked 1, as the shades are more warm toned but there were only two matte shades? Therefore when I spotted the Full Exposure palette by Smashbox I just knew that it was The One!
This was the perfect Christmas present from my sister (I had begged her to get it for me for so long) I love that it is more of a neutral palette, which are shades I wear everyday.
The Full Exposure palette comes with 14 neutral shades, named S1 - S7 (for Shimmer, along the top) and M1 - M7 (for Matte, across the bottom) and I must admit, the one shade that made me really really want this palette was shade S2. I love glitter, and this shade is super glittery, pigmented and buildable. You can wear just a little bit of sparkle for the day time blended with a matte shade or go the whole hog. This palette also comes with a double ended brush, one side for shimmer and the other for matte. This brush is incredibly soft! The only thing with the shimmer ended brush is that I do find it hard to pick up much glitter (unlike the image below with my finger) so if you did want to use more of the shimmer shades, you may need a more denser brush? I prefer a light hand of shimmer so I've not tried using another brush yet.
It also comes with a full exposure mascara (sample size), I've never actually heard much about this, so I am looking forward to trying this too. Voluminous lashes, Hi!
I have only one other palette which is the Too Faced Natural Eye palette, and you can really tell with these higher end eye shadows that they're so velvety smooth and melts like butter. They are so nice to apply.
If you are looking for a more neutral eyeshadow palette then I would highly recommend this, it retails for £37.00 which I guess is quite pricey, but you do get 14 shades, a brush and the mascara. Well worth its money, the two darker brown shades could also be used to fill in my eyebrows :)
