And now you're away to the city, and I'm still here by the sea...

Whist away in Cornwall for my birthday I did a little shopping (of course) I popped into the TK Maxx in St Austell and picked up this six piece Eco Tools starter set for just £9.99, it normally retails at £15.99, I had heard a lot about these from other bloggers but I have always sworn by Real Technique brushes, but as these were less than Ten pounds I treated myself with some of my birthday money.

My favourites out of this set are;

Blush Brush; who actually does what it says on the brush? I use this for powder as its light and I carry this in my everyday make up bag rather than the big Real Technique powder brush.

Concealer Brush; although I prefer to apply my concealer with the Real Technique Expert face brush, this concealer is so light weight that I carry it around with me whenever I need to reapply concealer throughout the day.

Angled eyeliner brush; I don't use this for eyeliner, instead I use it to apply my brows and I love it SO much, its quite stiff (in a good way) but still soft to the skin at the same time so its really easy to use to apply your brows.

What are your favourite brushes?

xx.

  1. I love my Real Techniques brushes although do have a soft spot for my Nanshy eye brushes. I am yet to try Eco Tools though x

  2. At the moment, I haven't really got a favourite brush. I have literally one that does for everything because I stupidly left them where the dog could chew them a while ago and haven't got around to replacing them. I like the look of these brushes!

  3. I seldom use brushes... but I couldn't live without my elf kabuki brush which I have had... wait for it... 6 years!! It is amazing and still going strong, no loss of hair or anything. Oh and I use a MAC 263 brush to do my brows, pretty standard, but I think is supposed to be for eye-liner, I just find it better for brows!

    These brushes do look lovely though and what a great price.. gold old tkmaxx! :)

  4. I only use a blusher brush. I'm just not that clever at make up. All credit to those who do it properly!
