In my left hand there is the familiar, in my right hand there’s the great unknown...

I haven't really felt up to blogging ever since I lost my domain name, but settling down with a good cup of tea and butter croissant, I thought i'd share what I have been up to the past few days! I am currently down in Bodmin, Cornwall at the moment simply relaxing a lot and turning the big two six (tomorrow! Eek!)

I am staying in the cutest two bedroom cabin, tucked away amongst the trees, it is so lovely and peaceful, you could hear a pin drop. If you holiday a lot in the UK and looking for a place to visit, I would highly recommend Cornwall, the people are so friendly and polite and if you have a car the next town isn't too far a drive, I plan on spending my birthday in Newquay which isn't too far from Bodmin. Other places I'd recommend a visit is Tintagel and Padstow!

Whilst in Bodmin we visited the Bodmin Jail which was actually pretty scary, you got to go see all the cells and who they had in them all those years ago. We kinda did the tour pretty quick as it was rather earie and spooky. Yes i'm a bit of a wuss.

The following day we did something a lot less scary and visited the Eden Project, it is filled with different plants and trees from different countries and offered many instagram opportunities! ;)

The cafe / restuarant was pretty epic too!

For such a small town there are lots of other things to do too, yesterday we went on a bike ride down the camel trail which has resulted in a sore butt, but luckily I didn't fall off my bike this year! ha.. after the bike ride we did a spot of shopping in the town, again, for such a small little town centre we bought quite a lot from the local gift shops and charity shops! A mini haul will be up when I'm home.

What have you been up to this week?

xx.

  3. I love Padstow, it's such a gorgeous little town. I did the camel trail a couple of years ago, and it's a really pretty route, a great reminder that you really don't have to go abroad to have a lovely break and see beautiful places! x
