Dancin' around the lies we tell, dancin' around big eyes as well...

I have never been someone who enjoyed brushing their hair, not because i'm lazy, simply because I felt that it would only make my hair more greasy. I am one of those realllly unlucky ones who have to wash their hair every morning without fail. I guess I am used to it now but what i'd give to have second or third day hair and still be able to wear it down! I am seriously jealous of all of those who can go days without having to wash their hair! As I wash my hair every day, I barely brushed my hair as I don't feel like I needed to, unless it is a super windy day.

I'll be honest here, I generally buy pretty crap hair brushes, I wouldn't really spend more than £2.00 on one but after seeing all the hype of the Tangle Teezer I did wonder how a hair brush could be so incredible? I didn't really like the shape of it so I never bought one. However more recently I started seeing reviews of the Michel Mercier detangling hair brush which I assume is similar but has a handle too. It retails for about £14.95, and I managed to pick this one up from TK MAXX for just £7.99. I chose the one for Normal hair but they do a brush for thick and fine too, so make sure you pick the right one when buying.

"The Secret to this innovative brush lies in the unique geometric distribution of its 428 bristles of varying heights which disperse the pressure on the hair when brushing. The result is a far more pleasant  brushing experience due to easier detangling, reduced hair loss and breakage."

Let me know your thoughts on the detangling hair brush!

  2. I own a tangle teezer but I love the idea of the handle on this one, I do find TT quite hard to hold. x

    1. Ah the plus side of it was also that it seems quite practical if you needed to pop it in your hand bag :) x
