Ladies Night @ Alea Nottingham...

Hi everyone!

I was rather reluctant to go to this event, as I am far from 'lady', I'm still 19 at heart, and sure look a lot younger! (According to everyone who just loves to ID me!) But I thought I should give it a go, and it gave me an excuse to wear my heels. It was held at The Hidden Bar at Alea Casino Nottingham.

Upon arrival to this event we were served a glass of champers, oh I do enjoy drinking from a 'flute', a lot classier than a pint glass that's for sure. We were then given goodie bags, which I tried to hide my eagerness til I got home, before pouring the goods all over my bed! I am a sucker for beauty products, so cannot wait to try everything (Please see list of products below!). I am a newbie to Lush products so I cannot wait to try the soap that was in there, I might consider purchasing the soap shampoo bars too, apparently they're meant to be quite good? I'd love love love to try their BIG sea salt shampoo too. My everyday hair is quite flat so volume all the way.

Along with the free champers and goodie bags, they also provided us with delicious cupcakes and a chocolate fountain! (Oh and fries and sandwiches for those with a savoury tooth like moi)

The event ran smoothly, and went a lot quicker than I thought, they had raffles, every hour to win some amazing Vivienne Westwood bags and Aveda products. I wasn't lucky enough to win any of these, though I did have a cheeky spin on one of the slot machines after ;).

I have been meaning to buy a night cream for a while, and with this came the L'Oreal Dema Genesis Cellular-Nurturing Night Cream, so I am going to try this first and will let you know how I get on! So like the  Alea Facebook page to keep up to date with their events and come to the next one :) x
