Currently referring to my new Moleskine diary as I write this post, I am thoroughly enjoying being more organised and being able to write down any ideas that pop into my head that I want to blog about! Some of you may be aware of the Weekly Notebook Diary / Planner, I love this style so much - it has the standard 7 day planner on the left and lined note paper on the right.
Anyhoo, this is my weekly round up in photos, I posted early last week so this is Thursday - Monday (today) I believe!
Blanket and Spritzers, Priddddy Moleskine, My train ride sorted; first episode of Africa, spicey pasta,
My first ever gel nails, Colour chart oh the choices!, SNOW, and my amazing charity shop
finds; The Hunger Games, Chasing Fire, Mockingjay.
Unplanned nights out are usually the best nights right? Despite being super snoozy, Friday night, about 8pm I caught three taxis to town and drank spritzers outside with blankets. It was a gooood night, always good when it ends with good chips. Did I mention it was good?
I spent my weekend in Sheffield, I was super organised, I downloaded the first two episodes of Africa onto my iPod to watch on the train, despite now having my iPhone, I still endeavor to use my iPod touch, for journeys such as these where I don't kill my phone battery. You all need to get on Africa, you can watch it on BBC iPlayer, I wouldn't say I am a wildlife nut, I hate insects and bugs, but this is truly fascinating I have been telling everyone to watch it! Upon arrival in Sheffield, the journey flew by Thanks to David Attenborough, I met my best friend and headed over to the nail salon and I got my first ever set of gel nails, it was only £15 from a hidden gem called 'Little Gems' and I didn't really know what to expect so I'm glad that I got them for at a super affordable price! I do like them, they are more ideal for going on holiday, they haven't chipped yet but I am one of those who changes their nail colour every other day and I am still waiting to use my dotting tools which arrived late last week! I went for the classic deep burgundy which has tiny specs of glitter. I don't think I would get gels every few weeks as I enjoy buying nail polish and painting my nails every other day, but I highly recommend gels as it doesn't feel fake, like acrylics, they feel and look super natural.
We spent the rest of the afternoon shopping at Meadow Hall and then popping over to the Cineworld and watched Les Mis! It was very good, but super deep and depressing, not my kinda film, but the singing was fab. The following day we lunched, and browsed the charity shops, and I bought all three 'hunger games' books, I am not a book worm, but I genuinely wish I was, I have seen the first film, and loved it, so I bought these. I am already on chapter 4 and I am thoroughly enjoying it! I must read more books in 2013 :). xx
